Snapchat has announced that all users of the app across iOS and Android will be able to seamlessly share their favorite YouTube videos with their friends directly through the Snapchat camera, so there will be no need to copy and paste. The platform said that more than 2 billion registered users visit YouTube every month to tune in to videos that help them find new music,
learn different skills, follow the news, and discover more about the world around them. "With this new integration, we're making it easier than ever for these viewers to send their favorite clips and videos right where they're already chatting with their Snapchat friends,"
Snapchat added.
This is the first time that YouTube links can be shared visually with Snapchat Stories and Snaps one-on-one, while still having access to the camera and the full suite of Snapchat Creative Tools for self-expression. Clickable YouTube stickers bring Snapchatters directly to the video within the YouTube app or in their favorite mobile browser. In order to take advantage of the new feature, open the YouTube app and select a video to watch. Tap on “Share,” then tap on the “Snapchat” icon to automatically go to the Snapchat camera. From there, create an original Snap using YouTube’s automated sticker, and layer it using any From our creative tools, friends just need to click on a YouTube sticker to view the video in their YouTube app or default mobile browser.
